I founded H. Brooke Design Studio with the mission of helping people craft their interior design and decor ideas and bring them to life. I consider myself to be a style chameleon and have worked with clients across a broad range of styles, from boho mod to rustic glam to french country to mid century modern and beyond.

I fell in love with design at a very young age - I asked for a designer comforter for my 10th birthday and gave my bedroom a striped, coastal, grandmillennial paint job at the age of 14, long before "grandmillennial" was a style. I have always loved to create and work with my hands.

 

I'm a native Texan, but during a 10 year stint in California my husband and I bought our first home, and I started to build my interior design, decor & DIY skillset. I began taking Interior Design coursework through the UC Berkeley certification program, and completely transformed our dated, builder-grade home into a showpiece that our eventual buyers described as "a house straight out of a magazine".

I left my career in management consulting & running business operations for tech companies to pursue my passion for working with clients in a much more creative, hands-on way. However, H. Brooke Design Studios clients find my program management, concept communication, finance and accounting skills an uncommon but invaluable part of what I bring to the table.
